Equine and canine photography by Matilda

My name is Matilda van Rijnberk and I am from The Netherlands.
I arrived in New Zealand in January 2007 and am based in West Auckland.
In Holland I was a journalist for one of the leading magazines for horse lovers, 'De Paardenkrant'. I worked there fulltime for seven years, writing articles and taking photo's. Thousands of my photo's have been published.

When it comes to taking photo's of horses, I know what they should look like in conformation as well as action shots of all the different disciplines and I'm not satisfied with less than the best possible result. I love working with horses (and dogs) and I am very patient. If the handler or rider is as well, we should be able to get very nice results!
I work with professional Nikon equipment.

Some ideas:

I can provide you with professional photo's of your stallions for use in your brochure or on your website, to show your broodmares and their offspring, to promote your business or the horses you want to sell... and whatever else you have a need for.
Arrange a fun photo-day or half day for your ponyclub.
I'll come and take pictures of everyone who's interested in whatever way they like:
Dressage, jumping, eventing, conformation, portraits of horses, dogs and/or people....etc. etc.

You name it, I'll shoot it and for a very reasonable fee!

• The copyright of all photo's remains my property. It is not allowed to use them in any public way, commercial or non-commercial, without my permission or payment.

• Horse owners, ponyclubs or event organizers who have made arrangements with me and cancel these within a week before the planned date, pay me 20% of the agreed reimbursement.

• Though I will do everything possible to make the photo's as good as possible, I cannot guarantee every horse or dog will look perfect. We are working with animals who don't always do what we want! 'Say cheese!' usually doesn't work very well...
